As a company we value our commitment to sustainability at the highest level. We are committed to meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs. Sustainability is our business, providing products that produce clean, emissions free, renewable energy. Our company maintains an ethical supply chain, becoming a signatory of the UN Global Compact of which we agree to acting in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, we are committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. These goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice.
Environmental
Tindo Solar understands the challenges climate change poses to our Earth, and the critical actions we must take to mitigate our impact on the environment for future generations. We practice what we preach here at Tindo Solar. From powering our own solar panel manufacturing facility with our solar panels, to an end-to-end recycling program with PV reclaim. Tindo Solar is wholeheartedly committed to environmental sustainability.
Human rights
Tindo Solar is committed to acting in a responsible manner within the community, and ensuring that human rights are upheld in our operations and supply chains. Our company is dedicated to operating with respect to human rights, and ensuring ethical procurement.
Tindo strictly prohibits forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking, or any other form of modern slavery. We do not source materials from suppliers that use slavery of any kind or forced labour.
Community
Tindo Solar is involved in community programs that seek to build positive relationships with external stakeholders that benefit the wider community. In addition, our company chooses to employ locals, which benefits the community by keeping jobs here in Adelaide, South Australia.
We have been proud to sponsor and assist ANU with their Solar Car Challenge projects.
Tindo Solar is a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact.
Our company supports the Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption.
Human Rights
Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and
Principle 2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.

Labour
Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;
Principle 5: the effective abolition of child labour; and
Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

We are a company that is committed to inclusivity and diversity. Our company does not source from supply chains that are involved in forced labour and child labour.
Environment

Principle 9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

Environmental sustainability is at the core of what we do, as a solar panel manufacturer. We have also partnered with Reclaim PV Recycling, to ensure end of life solar panels are not placed in landfill. Our sustainability policy can be found on our website for download.
